New WinUAE Version What to do

Hi, just wondered what we do when there is a new version of WinUAE out, like there is now, 1.4.6 has just been released, is there an updated gemus.dat we can download, or do we just have to do it manually somehow. Thanks.

Just update WinUAE manually (zip-archive), works fine here.

For the Emulator Setup Wizard. If you want to use the auto update feature of Gamebase.

Erm... exactly, so what does winuae have to do with it?

If you need to change anything (and I doubt it), then just edit it yourself.

The new winuae won't be detected by GB's emulator wizard, so basically if you've already had gamebase setup with winuae, just overwrite the old winuae with the new one and don't worry about anything

If you are setting it up for the first time, then when you use the wizard, just tell it to use 1.45 and then manually locate the 1.46 exe, as it makes no difference.

Exactly. I never got why this thing seems to confuse people from time to time.
Maybe because there is mention about the version in gemus, where most times it doesn't matter (and including different versions in the setups is usually because of compatibility issues or for completeness).
