gotek df1: ?

I want to make .ADF files of my disk and then move them to my gotek from my amiga 4000T.
I set my gotek to df1: it boots/runs games fine but in workbench I can't see df1: so I am wondering if this is even possible to transfer files on my amiga to the gotek?

Never mind for some reason I thought you could go from amiga to gotek with multiple ADFs but now realize it is just another disk drive nothing else.

I was trying to bring multiple ADFs from my a4000T to my PC on the USB key.
