WarpSNES
Hi,
did anyone get WarpSNES to work correctly under Sonnet library? According to the Sonnet Thread it works without problems. I am getting good FPS >50, but Graphics Errors. The picture is doubled and in false colors. I tried Voodoo3 Output in different resolutions using my Voodoo 3 on Mediator. PIP on Workbench shows sames result like native resolution. Anyone has an Idea what's wrong here? link to picture |

Doubled probably means you used a 640x480 screen instead of the correct one. Start there first. And if the colors stay wrong you used an 8 bit instead of 16 or the other way around probably.

Quick check says 256x224. But 320x240 should work.

It's even distorted it in PIP or WB Windowed mode, so wonder what causes it. Looks like the Voodoo is addressed in a wrong way. Interesting is that even PPC/Voodoo screens that worked before now have this distortion and false color... ScummVM worked perfectly before, but now also has this false colors.... need to reverse go through recent changes obivously... had Quake3 installed over the weekend, not sure if it messed with some ENVs or libraries affecting P96/Sonnet/Mediator or any other variable...

Ok, for everyone interested, the wrong colors have been due to not all / the wrong screenmodes configured in P96.
And you've been absolutely right Hedeon, with a screen of 320x240 8bit (don't use 16bit modes) on the voodoo, it's running smooth. |
