If you use OS3.9 BB2 and SmartFileSystem, you can use the full 20GB.

Sounds buggered to me. Best to try it on PC first make sure it works. A 2.5" to 3.5" adapter wouldnt cost much and you could then install it using WinUAE (nice and fast!)

Did you only ever try it as a replacement disk?

It should have worked fine as a slave disk when booting with that setup.

i was selling the 2.5 hd as a 2.1gb (so i thought ) and installing os3.1 onto it,
it wasnt until i tried to read the drive & partion it, then it would not reconise it.

even power computing could not setup a 3.5 20gb drive, in my tower using OS3.5
