Amiga 500 ram sockets that are rf-shield and keyboard compatible (low profile)?

I am sourcing parts for my upcoming A500++ build. I will socket all IC's including the RAM chips, logic chips etc.

I recall that I read on a forum some time ago that most of the time you can't use sockets for the RAM chips since they are to tall and the mounted RAM chips will interfere with the RF-shield or keyboard.

I would like to know if it is possible to use socketed RAM chips with the RF shield mounted and if so. What is the maximum socket height that I can use?

I used four of these low profile Preci-Dip sockets, link below. No longer stocked but maybe you can source them elsewhere? You can check out pictures of this in the (sticky) thread "Amiga 500 mod to Amiga 500+" post #36 in the Hardware mods section. Hope it helps!
