Delfina Flipper Edition - Octamed SS 1

Hi

Would anyone know if it is possible to use a Delfina, "Flipper Edition", soundcard for playback of mods using Octamed SS 1?

The sound card is attached to the clockport of an A1200 and seems to differ from the, "Delfina", supported in the menu. When I select 64 channel playback I get an error, "Delfina not found".

Other than Mp3 playback there doesn't seem too much to do with this sound card as it doesn't seem supported much.

Kind regards

Gavin.

Got you, Digibooster is a tracker that supports AHI and various tracker formats including Octamed SS.

Good workaround.

Many thanks.

Hi

I think it does but the tocatta emulation is based on the assumption that the Delfina isn't connected to the clockport. I think there are two different models of Delfina, my being the unsupported edition in Octamed. There isn't much online regarding the Delfina so I may be wrong.

I Tried Octamed Sound Studio V2 and it worked via toccata driver. I'm not sure Octamed SS suports AHI and I think SSv2 is discontinued. It's strange that the toccata driver in Octamed SS v1 doesn't create any errors but it just seems to freeze the play line until I stop playing.

Thanks for the suggestion.

OctaMED SSv1 never had native support for AHI.

You can only use AHI on OSSv1 through TheMaestrix which emulates the Maestro Pro library, supported by OSS, playing on AHI: http://goo.gl/m4Fr

Edit- In essence you can play OSSv1 audio through any AHI supported device, even on OS4 and WinUAE AHI PC hardware audio.
