last version of Samplitude Opus from ACT
As the title says
the ACT website where it was freely available for download is seemingly gone, so I wonder if anyone here grabbed it before it was gone. I have version R9 ISO from 27-Mar-1999 (I bought the software back then and did beta tests for it too), but I think there was at least R9-4 released in June 1999, and maybe other versions later on, but no luck googling for it nor found in online collections like TOSEC etc. Thanks |

Man, looking for old Amiga audio software always seems ultra hard. I still have like 3 pieces of software I have never been able to source from anywhere.
Good luck with your search. |

Thanks for that JPV, but that is only the 030 version.
I checked my ISO again and it is 106MB, and is version 3.5 R9-3. Of course most data are samples and HDPs, but it also contains the binaries for 030-881, 040 and 060. Maybe someone has the 060 version of this too? I may try to contact Marc Albrecht directly if he is still around. And Akira, not wanting to go off topic, but what are you looking for? |

I am pretty confident I have them all archived.
Give me some time and I will dig into my backups. |

Not going OT much, but if you have any of these music related things, I'll be forever in your debt!

Ok, I have uploaded to The Zone! the latest version of Samplitude Opus.
Default was 030, but I included 040, 060 and ppc versions. It also includes serial number. Be warned that Samplitude Opus always required a FPU to work |

Awesome Gulliver! Indeed the 060 R9-5 version is in there! Thanks!
For those who are interested in the full CD release back in 1999, I uploaded the complete ISO so you can check out docs, samples, projects etc that were included with the retail release. Not in the zone as the file is >20MB, ISO is 112MB to be exact. ACT Samplitude Opus FULL CD (R9-3 27-Mar-1999).iso |
