Pizza Tycoon help

Ok, I am playing the PC version of this game, and I am having TROUBLE.

You see, I am playing with a guy with average popularity (around 60-70). I've set up my restaurant, I have good furnishing (All the customers rate it 75+, the younger ones are rating it between 85-90), I've made 5 recipes, 3 of them are very good rated, one is excellent rated by children, and other one is average rated. I've a good cooker, and 2 good waiters, I have 2 ovens.

I make ads, flyers and newspaper, get 40% of reach at newspaper (the max that's possible to get)

I buy stock from 2 stars suppliers (Money is short now)

I open my restaurant.. NO ONE COMES! My popularity is at -57, and I dunno why! I wait 2, 3 days, my stock gets old and the quality gets low, and still NO ONE COMES!

What am I doing wrong, for GOD SAKE! This game is driving me crazy, I could never play it properly because NO ONE EVER CAME TO MY RESTAURANTS!

Please, please, help me

I can't help saying it, but it looks like a bad crack.
I remember this sort of behavior from games like GODS and Pirates! (C64). In both of these games, the "copy-protection" was the impossibility to play the game till the very end!
Either the opponents were absolutely undefeatable, or other things occurred in an extreme manner. And all this happened with the copy ONLY, driving the player into insanity!

I think I know why though.

As you said, it might be a bad crack.

have you made your own pizzas or have you made the pizzas on the menu? That was the copy protection. If you didn't have it cracked right you'd get 0's on the original pizza recipies, and without the original ones you wouldn't get any customers at all.

Oh yeah, I remember pirates copy protection

That was evil

I dunno about my Pizza Tycoon crack... I only do original recipes, but I don't get a 0 for them. Like I said, my Pizzas all have good ratings with costumers (You know, those barriers than can be red, green or yellow, they are all high yellows or greens)

I should check, though.
