I have both releases : the original one, as well as the no codes version used in the jump compilation from Microids.

I zone both in ADF enjoy !

Hi Denis,
Would it be possible that your version is not supported by WHDLoad patch?
I tried to install it, and the game crashes ever at beginning with an error. (040 and 020CPU)

it is indeed unsupported. Nicky II original version is copy protected by codes, like Nicky Boom

nope Nicky Boom use protection codes whatever the release.

Denis, is the Nicky II adfs I upped in the zone the ones you upped back in 2015 ?
If so, when is manual protection supposed to show, after completing a level ?

I decided to investigate the issue Casper30 reported at MantisBT by reinstalling the game, however WHDLoad only seem to work with the cracked versions.
Both of these has a different executable GAME file (68.220 bytes)

In the meantime, I reinstalled game with this disk:

That seems to fix the problem WHDLoad version has with level skip.

Upon further inspection "Nicky II (original)(codes)" is exactly the same as " Nicky II (Compilation) (no codes version)" with a modified high score by a certain "DENIS", wonder who that might be.
