Amiga drawing tablet/digitizer + Winuae is it possible?

Pretty much as per the title!

Can I use an Amiga drawing tablet, specifically the Datel Genitizer on a pc,
so it works with winuae and Deluxe Paint?

The idea just suddenly popped into my head if it was possible or not!

This is my thinking other than, would I hit driver problems or would it just work?
I think the best way is to just try it and see what happens.

You may need a real serial port anyway , not serial-2-usb.

I am not sure if the serial pin outs are the same between PC and Amiga, so definitely check that first.

I have had great success with the USA-19HS Keyspan High-Speed USB-to-Serial Adapter. I use them to connect my old Wacom tablets to my modern machines. At work we used them to control a range of tape decks for the video editors.

Something I will defo look at. I did wonder if something like usb to serial would work. I plan to use the tablet to get back into dpaint art.

I am aware I will need a 25pin to 9pin convertor anyway and silly old me gave some away a while back

All these years and decide I no longer need it... now I do lol.
