Anbody know what happened to the CDTV conversion of Dune 1 by Virgin?
I can imagine the project was cancelled due to the poor sales of the machine but I can't really find much hard facts about what it was going to be like compared to the PC CD-ROM edition in terms of speech/intros or anims etc.
I do have a "prototype" ISO release but it's about 3mb but not burnt it to a CD-R or unpacked the CDTV to see what it is. |

You should be able to read that CD on PC. Can you share the contents in The Zone?

It was also announcied for the CD32. Didn't knew it was first announcied for the CDTV. The MegaCD version is probably a good impression of what we could had on the CDTV.
The zipped MCD version is 275mb so Idoubt the prototype ISO you had features the same enhancements vs the floppy version |

Dune is released in 1992 by Virgin for CDTV. It is the floppy Amiga 500 put on CD-ROM.

Is there interest in a Dune 1 "plus" HD installable with all the soundtrack mods missing [that i would like to redo]? (will need some coder to work on putting it in the game though)

Interesting, I can only go by the title of the ISO I downloaded (I got it from the CDTV TOSEC so more than likely the same as the archive.org link).
