i would appreciate if anyone could push an MFM or WWP image of this game.

I would be able even to create an extended ADF of it !!

Crashes on real A1200 with 030 and 16 Mb Fast. Tested WHD 16.0 and 16.8 and both slaves.

UPS !!!!!!

Works in NTSC mode

In PAL screen is shaking a bit. Maybe that's the problem. Besides that game has awfull slowndowns.

Another test.

In demo mode game does not have these slowndowns. Besides that after demo is black screen and it remains black till I hit fire.

Last edited by haynor666; 14 August 2008 at 20:52. Reason: more tests

Have you compared the disk image i've attached some posts before with the one from Larmer?

Yes. It was same disk image like mine. This image work perfectly for me without any settings on Blizzard 68030/16mb. When I set CACHE on and I´m stuck between two enemies, game starts to throw me too much far from enemy object (KillerGodzilla reported it too), but without CACHE it works ok.

In SNOOP mode I also see screen shaking but no error is reported and I don´t know why this is happening. Debugger from WinUAE reports "Bad playfield setting" or something like that, but it´s hard to find for me.

There are still some blitwaits to insert.
I found at least four which are missing at (in game, level 1): $12CC, $1376, $1B70, $273A.
It will certainly fix this crashes.

Ghost Battle v1.2 test version

OK, here is update:

- all blitter bugs found by Psygore fixed (4x)
- removed buttonwait moment after demo reported by Haynor

Please tell me if it improved your situation. We know now that game in v1.1 works ok in NTSC mode for some people and for some people it even works in NOVBRMOVE mode, I would like to have this confirmed from more people, please.

No luck, still get this error message after a few seconds ingame:

Quote:
Exception "Illegal Instruction" ($10) at $4BD0
Just tested the NTSC tooltype and the game works fine on my real Amiga. But the screen is stretched a bit, looks awful on my TV. I guess this has something to do with the lower NTSC resolution.

btw: NOVBRMOVE still crashes the game here.
