Storm: It is without doubt the best files system. Rock steady if set it up correct. I never had a problem with it.

Hi All,
Ive been running SFS on my CF Cards for years in my A1200 without a single problem and thought i would give the newest PFS3AIO a bash just out of curiosity. I am seeing no speed improvemnets whatsoever, A1200 boots up to WB, iGame initial loading of gamelist and testing drive speed in Sysinfo are all virtually identical on both filesystems. Both CF cards are setup in identical manner with partitions, software etc and both running ClasicWB ADVSP. I was just wondering if i am missing something as i was lead to believe i would see noticable speed improvements with PFS3. Thanks |

@speshady
I think the noticeable improvement would occur if you went from ffs to pfs not from sfs as they are both pretty fast. |

@dlfrsilver
Well ive not noticed any difference on a real A1200. Any reason why you say PFS3 is better? |

In case you encounter an issue with PFS3AIO you can contact the author here and you will probably have it solved.
God luck with SFS. Unsupported. |
