FM2 was also my favourite, because my a500 didn't have a HD, and FM2 was very easy to run from disk.

I don't remember much about FM3, because I never used it. But, it is good to see that someone is resuming development..

I had some backups (like 3.x or pre-3.x FM sources), I only remember it was some 3.5" 40M Samsung HD on my A1200 that said "pop" suddenly and died.. (and smelled bad..)

Only HD that I have seen to die instantly.. Usually they die slowly (happened many times..), bad blocks and more bad blocks slowly.

My 320gb HD recently died suddenly and nothing was backed up

I'm hoping to buy the same drive so I can change the boards and get my data

Fingers crossed eh

Guys, we live in theAge of BroadBand. Only thing you need, are your basic install-diskettes/CD's/DVDs and you should be fine...... just about everything (apart from lost sources befe internet came along) can be found on the internet :P
