Also, pressing RMB down again while already in the sticky state should unstick it.

Rapid RMB events, say 2nd RMB is <= 1/10th second from 1st RMB should be ignored and NOT unstick things. This is because some old mice have gone wacky and register 2 superfast clicks for every 1 press.

Thanks!!

Does Middle Mouse Button also unstick the RMB like the LMB does?
Not yet, but I'll add it.

Of course it does, it always did. It still behaves like Caps Lock (one click on, second click off). The LMB was just an addition.

I already wrote this for the left mouse button. It's called AntiPrell in the download section of my homepage. I never needed it for the right button. Perhaps I'll merge the two programs.

You should consider a PC mouse adapter (e.g. Cocolino) and a high quality PC mouse. I use a Logitech Cordless Optical mouse for some years now and have no problem. Those old Amiga mice usually started to bounce on the LMB half a year after I bought them. Furthermore it is really enjoyable to work with an optical mouse, especially without cable.

Finally, latest version of StickyRMB and a new version of AntiPrell with right button support.

AntiPrell can handle only one button at one time. To unbounce both buttons, run it twice, once for the left button and once for the right one. The right button is handled if you add the RIGHT switch.

So does this officially make (the rather buggy) MagicMenu obsolete?

I don't think so. MagicMenu is mainly for changing the look of the menus. Having an option for sticky menus is just a side effect. You can well run MagicMenu without being sticky.

Sorry for diggin up such an old thread but:

Thank You @Thomas for StickyRMB

I have been just looking for Commodity that only will stick the menu bar.
I used the Magic Menu and it works fine but in new AmigaOS 3.2 I increased
the height of the menu bar and Magic Menu still kept menu option at the very top.

I guess Your version is more system friendly so no problems.

I suggest putting it on Aminet - small app but does its job well !
