How many cracktros/trainers came with built-in mini-games?
I can only think of two. There's Space Invaders found in Melon's Sooty and Sweep trainer and Tetris in... the name of the game escapes me. Are there any more?
I love the way Melon skipped the usual menu system here, integrating the options into an arcade game instead. [ Show youtube player ] |

I imagine it gets a little frustrating though if playing the game multiple times. |

Thanks for the Pacman suggestion. That one totally passed me by so I'll check it out soon and make a video if someone hasn't already beaten me to it.
Oddly I've never seen this Space Invaders trainer in a video covering Sooty and Sweep so people are either using a different version or think nothing of editing it out. You can just shoot in between the UFOs to hit those trainer options to get started faster, but I wanted to see what would happen if I cleared the screen of enemies first. Nothing it turns out. Otherwise, you can just make sure you get killed straightaway to play the game without the trainer. |
