Little games with script engines builtin
Hi Amiga freaks,
![]() I would like to have an idea if you guys know of any old small games which had scripting engines, like for example, those little Windows 3.11/Windows 95 games, that allowed the author or even the user to script the actions of the characters of the game... Small games please, specially those optimized to run on 2 MB/4MB machines and old video cards! ![]() For example, the Jiji's adventures series, which is the only one that I know, its located at http://www.nurs.or.jp/~h_ozawa/engli...ree/tgame.html, its a very cute Windows rpg with a black cat which uses a scripting engine builtin. See you tomorrow! ![]() |

Not sure if that's what you had in mind, but Castle Of Dr. Brain had a section where you programmed a robot with a small script to perform a simple action.

ChipWits for C64 was one of the first games to do this. You basically construct a computer program that aims to navigate a robot through a maze. You can find modern versions on chipwits.com.
On Amiga there's a game called Lure of the Temptress where you can give your companion various instructions on places to go and actions to perform, which he will then carry out. |
