Indivision AGA MKII and Eagleplayer
Has anyone else come across the problem of certain modules blanking the screen when using the Indy MKII and Eagleplayer? I'm running on a CRT monitor at 800x600 and most modules play perfect without problems, but some (Musicline for instance, but not all) blank the screen as soon as they start playing and the only way to get the picture back is to reset the Amiga. They still play fine but the screen is just blanked out. These same modules play fine using Delitracker without the screen problems, so it's related to Eagleplayer with the Indy MKII somehow!
I'm running a A1200 Rev 2B with CWB ADV, Rom 3.1, Blizzard 1230 IV 68030 with FPU and SCSI kit, 128MB ram, Indy AGA MKII with SuperPlus driver (800x600). Have tried various EaglePlayer settings with no luck. |

Disable 14bit audio modes and see if it still blanks.

No luck unfortunately, switching to 8 bit makes no difference, screen still blanks and monitor shuts off with certain modules.

I found a similar problem with the Indivision AGA MK2 DVI and EaglePlayer. Connected with the DVI the image gets partly scrambled sometimes when playing a mod with EaglePlayer.

Does it also happen in PAL mode?
I built an Easy1541 cable for the parallel port recently and whenever I use it in higher resolutions on the MkII, the picture gets scrambled while I am transferring if I am using something higher than PAL. I was wondering maybe it is the Amiga and it has some problem with DMA for high res modes while doing certain stuff. |

I still haven't found a resolution to this apart from discerning it is a Indivision MKII bug/problem. Although I am still running the original firmware on the Indivision so it may have been cured in the later core. I haven't tried normal PAL mode either yet as I use 800x600 SuperPlus on my 19" analogue monitor and it's set up for that resolution, I will have to try it and see what happens.
