Some little things I stumbled upon
I'm working on a project which requires crawling through all the HOL entries. Here are some possible "data problems" I've encountered so far.
Asterix and the Magic Carpet - was there an actual English release? Mean 18 - Ultimate Golf - Misc Courses 4 (1987)(Accolade)[cr QTX][data disk] - is on Turran, but not in HOL Scenery disk 7 & 11 - they are available, HOL shows MIA entries |

I found a file where I kept notes on HOL....here are a few more entries with possible errors or omissions:

They might be a bit cryptic but I was mainly concentrating on my collection so this was just a side activity. |

No worries...glad they can be of use. I'm pretty sure there was more when I was crawling the year 1990, but at this point I've stopped taking notes seeing as there was not much interest in that original report.
If you want, I will start paying attention again when I do years 1991-onwards and will give you a shout if I find anything. With Afterburner I think I meant the fact that maybe Afterburner II doesn't really exist officially, but it's actually explained in the notes on HOL so that's ok I guess. |

It's the whole numbering releases thing. Like Final Fantasy VI from Japan became Final Fantasy III in the US. |

You can find there also this spanish version: "Asterix en la India (1987)(Coktel Vision)(ES)" That's why, you should add this laguage to language entry. The languages should be: -French -German -Spanish And also in this case, you should add to the game entry new alias, namely: Asterix en la India The aliases should be: -Asterix En La India -Astérix Chez Rahàzade -Astérix Im Morgenland |

Yeah, how could I overlook the Spanish version when checking if the English one actually exists...
Adding it now. |

Ok, just note... try to change the alias from "Asterix en la India" to "Asterix En La India" Everything is with upper cases in HoL. Examples: Art De La Guerre Capitán América En La Venganza Difensore Della Corona II Passeggeri Del Vento |

Thank you
Probably it's name matched (as I said before I can't edit it directly), so unless either RCK or Wepl fixes it there's not much I can do. I'll look at the rest. Quote:

Were you looking at the CDTV entry? The disk version has relationships. Quote:
Not sure what you mean with the TOSEC section. Last edited by TCD; 22 June 2022 at 19:05. |

@TCD
-Wikipedia says that "Action Stations! Scenario Utility Disk was also released." Also, it was "hacked" and "supplied" by some cracking group. Not sure if that means anything but perhaps warrants closer investigation. -Falcon - yes, you're right as CDTV version is from 1991 -TOSEC, sorry that was meant for TOSEC itself, not HoL, some spelling corrections Thanks for the quick fixes |

I just checked Google quickly about the Action Stations data disk and it didn't come up with much. I'm all ears for more leads though

The scenarios on the TOSEC disk match the ones in this review (which also mentions Amiga release). The only problem is that they talk about two disks in this release, and some additional utilities - and on that TOSEC disk I can only see the scenarios. |

Thanks, boss. I see you added an entry for the Femme Fatale data disk too, it's not MIA though.

Yeah, somebody needs to take screenshots. I'll get to it either tomorrow or on Monday.
