My cd32 doesn't load up my sd kaart with terrible fire card

I tried on both a tf328 en 330 and own two cd32's.

This is what happens. Everytime I start my cd32 it automatically goes to the cd loading screen. CD games work fine btw and one of the cd32's has been recently recapped.

Any idea what is at fault? I use a ribbon to the sd card. One is 8gb and one is 32gb. The 32gb one doesn't even power on (the cd32 led light). I removed the shielding on one of my cd32's since I heard if the sd is danglin on the shield that is too low it won't load up, but whatever I try I can't get it to work anymore.

Are your SD cards booting fine in WinUAE, if you can test that ?

Is there a way for me to test? I have an sd card reader/writer to my pc. So I put the sd card in there and then see if it loads in winuae? Do I need 32, of 64 bit winuae?

Yes, put your SD card in your reader, run WINUAE & load the CD32 config, then in WINUAE go to "CD & Hardrive", Add Hardrive, and choose your SD card (it should be mentionned RDB, not MBR on the label of you SD card), then start.

A least you should know if the SD card is ok if it boots
