I'm looking for the game Aesop's Fables from "Unicorn Educational Software".
I found screenshots on HOL, but no disk images anywhere.

I have a 2 disk set of aseops fables, however the disk wont load, and gives a software error, followed by a guru error. I`d be happy to post them to the zone, in hope that some of the cleaver people here might be able to repair them, and repost the fixed ones back to the zone?. Please advise.

I hope it can be fixed, its marked as 3star rare in HOL. it would be nice to have one saved.

Hi Thomas, I have a set of the disks your looking for. Unfortunately disk one has a checksum error and wont load. I have posted it in the zone,, in hopes that someone here might be able to fix it and repost it back to the zone. I have contacted dlfrsilver as suggested by someone else here, and asked if he might be able to sort the disk out. I await his reply.

'Fixed' disk 1, but all I get is 80000004 or 8000000B Guru's

Hi Nobby, you know more than I do . All my miggies are all packed away after a house move. New place has no room to get them up and running.
when last set up, 2 running, no3 has no sound, and no4 is a basket case. Thaniks for your time

The original Guru Error was: Guru Meditation #00000004.00C05140

Of course it fails. The copy protection is missing. This is why you get an error on loading and also a crash. It uses the HLS Ben Herndon disk protection.
