s2335! You made a great find. I have a deep appreciation for coders who push old hardware to new heights. This is a wonderful little game. I could find hours of enjoyment in something like this as opposed to the garbage spewed out nowadays for current hardware.

For me playability is only OK. It's like old Jump!, but in pseudo 3D. I want Stardust tunnel levels on that engine

If you want Atari game with great playability and good graphics try Fatal Game: http://atari.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=4810 (I know it looks like Total Recall rip-off, but it's better)

It's cool that the bouncing of the ball is in sync with the music. Really nice touch.

I finally got a chance to try it out on atari800win+ and it's fantastic, played for about an hour. There were some minor issues though. This weekend I will dig out my Atari 130XE from the closet and see if it runs better, and also try it out with the atari++ emulator. For Atari buffs, it is worth the download...

Thats certainly one impressive piece of coding!. Looks absolutely brilliant Like Fred the Duck said, pushing the old hardware is a sight to behold, and thats what i loved about the C64 & Amiga over the years... 1989, wow great graphics, 1990 .. woah WTF, how can the Amiga do this!.. 1991 .. ARCADE quality .. 1992 .. they said i couldn't be done and my Amiga is doing it.. etc...
