6th Kick Off 2 World Cup

I just wanted everyone to know that this year's world cup will be held in Rickmansworth, UK on October 28-29, 2006. 56 players have registered so far.

The English Amiga Board will be represented by Manicx, Stainy and yours truly.

Even if you're not interested in playing, it would be nice if any of you dropped by to meet other Amiga fans and see how we're doing. I know there are many English here.

We even have some female players this year.

Female players? WTF! I need to practice now because losing to one of those will be disastrous. Having said that, my Amigas are in the loft....

How good do you have to be to not end up at last place?

There's a very good chance that it will be held in Norway next year.

If you can beat the Amiga even by 1-0, you won't end up last. There are several weak players every year.

Wow, that would be great! Never had any friends who has liked Kick Off (they actually hated it), so i have only played the computer all my life. I can beat "him" more than 1-0 so means i hopefully will not end last. Good thing!

Stainy was last in 2002, but in his defense there were only 25 people in that world cup and only a handful of weak players. He has improved a lot since then.

Haakon, I can give you the e-mail of the most active Norwegian KOAer if you want to participate in a local tournament. He lives in Tromso, I don't know how far that is from your location.

I've been looking at the KOA-forum, and seen there is one player (Klaus) from Tromsø. But that is far-far up in Norway. I think it's cheaper to go to London, so maybe i should get my butt moving and go to London this year. I'll see if i can fool a friend or two to travel with me.

Hello all!

I'm the guy with the Greek flag wrapped around my shoulders.
Nikos (manicx) is behind me in the red jacket.
To find Haakon, look at the girl in the front row and draw a vertical line from her left shoulder until you see a half-hidden blond face in the back row.
I can't seem to locate Stainy.

Perhaps he was in the toilet!
