Tales of Gorluth - Translation Thread
As you can see here I am working on the final chapter of ToG.
So it´s time to start this ToG Translation Thread. I am willing to include as much languages as possible. Some EAB members already offered their help. Thanks for that, guys. Languages so far: LANGUAGE ...................TRANSLATOR.....................................SOURCE German .......................n/a..................................................n/a English ........................Lielo and his girlfriend........................German Hungarian ...................Reynolds...........................................English* French ........................turrican3...........................................English* Czech .........................Predseda...........................................English Estonian......................HardStep...........................................English Italian.........................Raislin77it..........................................English Finnish........................Bamiga2002.......................................English If you want to see "your" language included please send me a PM or post your offer in this very thread. (I assume that the English or German version will be your translation source.) Some info about the job: All text screens are IFF files (Backbone handles screens as scenes resp. simple IFF pictures). So I will provide all IFF pictures and you have to send me a simple .txt or .doc file containing all translations in return. E.g.: The IFF file "Dieb 1b" needs to be translated. So the headline will be: DIEB 1B: ...followed by the translated text. bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bl bla bla blablablablab blablablab bla bla and so on... All texts must fit in the predetermined number of screens/images. As soon as the German version is finished, Lielo will get the IFF texts. So if you need the English translation as a source, you´ll have to wait a bit... Ah yes, you will be credited with your real name in the introduction sequence, if you want. * Correct me, if I am wrong! Last edited by viddi; 27 May 2013 at 12:24. |

We will probably need the font you used for texts so we can add national specific characters to it and use for creating localisation in our DPaints. I think it is better (if possible) to return you translated IFF-ILBM files than .txts, because of the possible national characters corruption. It should also save you some work, if returned files are correctly named.

It doesn´t contain any specific characters. I´m editing the German umlauts in PPaint. @all: If there is a Windows compatible EI font out there, please let me know, because I want to layout the other languages in Photoshop. |
