Does anyone here remember Mutant League Hockey, Skitchin' and Mighty Max being part of EA/Ocean's mid-90's schedule? I remember a small news piece in issue 46 of Amiga Power which claimed that the two companies canned the release of these three games (the Amiga versions at least) due to technical/financial problems (?).
However, I'm sure someone out there managed to obtain playable copies of these games by other means (crackers releasing them into public before expected release date, you knew someone in the development teams and they handed you a copy, or whatever). Anyone got any info or possible ways to obtain these games? I'd like to see how they'd perform on a machine like the Amiga. |

You're sure none of you have any information regarding these games?
There must be someone who can explain if these games were ever obtained in some way and spread around! |

This is rather a pointless thread, since this was already covered here:

I clean forgot about that old thread.... thanks Twist!
Although it doesn't answer my main question: were the games ever put on actual disks? I saw Mutant League Hockey listed in the Rob Northern protection list so the disks for that must have been produced at least. Hell, when you look at the sprawling list of killed Amiga games it really pisses you off that they never came in virtual playable form at any point! ![]() |

Was it not already explained that Rob Northern listed all games which he was paid for? If EA paid him for use of his copylock code that does not necessarily mean the game was finished and all bundled up on disks.
