Open drawer in current window?
Hi,
When I'm opening drawers in workbench 3.1 this always creates a new window. Is there a way to have drawers open in the parent window so the number of windows stay a bit more low? Thanks. |

Actually I remember that, in the past, I had a similar feature in one of my systems but, if I am not wrong, in order to do so I had to hold down ctrl or amiga key when opening a drawer. I don't remember the name of that commodity though...

Holding down the amiga key will only close the source window. There is also a comodity to do that automaticaly, somewhere in the depth of the aminet irc.
Go for Scalos or DOpus Magellan as Korodny wrote. I'd go for Scalos. It's closer to Workbench compared to Dopus. Dont know if Scalos 1.2 can do what you want but the 41.x versions can. Take a look here... Last edited by Michael Sykes; 21 August 2016 at 22:26. |
