PCMCIA Compact Flash - WinUAE to 1200 help

Sorry guys, I've just spotted the sticky thread where this enquiry should have gone.
Hi there, I've been getting my 1200 back into service, and I'm currently trying to exchange files between it and the pc with a compact flash card.
Its a bit chicken and egg at the moment. I don't have the files I need on the Amiga like CC0 and Fat95 (is it?) to get the card working, and without the card I don't have an obvious means of getting them.
I thought I would be able to format the card on the Amiga (I have 4 cards) and then use WinUAE on the pc, but the Amiga just says no disk in CC0: THEN I thought I could format the card in WinUAE, but after giving me all the warnings about losing data, it then says the disk is empty. I tried mounting the card as a hard drive but got the same result. Is there a way of doing it?
Should I be able to format a card from the Amiga? Do I need CC0: in devs or something? I've been through some old hard drives looking for something useful, but no luck so far. I've got my Worbench 3.0 floppies around here somewhere.
Any thoughts? :-)

One option is Amiga Explorer. It allows you to transfer files from your PC to Amiga via serial cable.

Requirements and instructions in the link.

Thanks Chue, not currently an option, unfortunately.

CC0: only supports PCMCIA SRAM cards. CF cards in PCMCIA adapter requires compactflash.device, cfd.lha in Aminet.

Understood, thanks. I am seeing if I can get somebody to send me that and fat95.lha on an Amiga floppy. I noticed there is also CFD133.lha which is newer, should I get that?
In the meantime, I have tried connecting a 3.5 Amiga IDE HDD to my pc and accessing it through WinUAE. The pc doesn't recognise it or list it as a device, and it doesn't show up as a device I can add as a harddrive in WinUAE prefs.
I've tried 3 different Amiga hard drives, so I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. Any clues?
(WinUAE 4.1.0 64bit)

Hi. You should get CFD133 and FAT95.
I can send you the files on a floppy disk. PM me your address.

Does it appear in Windows Disk Management? If it does not, it probably is common CHS-only drive problem (Most/all USB adapters expect LBA support), especially if drives are old and size is under 1G.

How did you connect it? USB adapter? Exact drive models?

Yes, I connected it witha USB UGreen drive convertor.

UGreen shows up in WinUAE prefs as a selectable hard drive, but I think its just seeing an empty USB adaptor.

Let me know if you need any disks or files sending (provided not copyright! Lol). If you have a serial cable then you can create your own disks using the Amiga Explorer app later so may only need one disk with that loaded on it...

Much appreciated, Lesta. With Sir Lucas' kind help, I should hopefully be sorted. :-)
And so it was. Thanks, Sir Lucas, cards are now recognised, I'll start transferring files later. Very much appreciated. :-)
