Create Bootable CD/DVD for AROS x86
Someone knows how to create a Bootable CD/DVD for AROS x86 on Windows.
AROS x86 uses its own Bootloader (see screnshot) but on Windows no burning or ISO management program can create an ISO bootable. I tried to extract the Boooloader AROS x86 with various programs but then once imported the ISO/CD/DVD does not start! Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 07 April 2020 at 20:36. |

ultraiso allows you to do many things, extract manipulate, and re-enter what you need
later you can try the iso before burning it or using it with a virtual machine. for example: https://documentation.help/UltraISO/userguide.htm |

I know and have always used UltraISO and MagicISO to edit and create Bootable CD/DVDs for Windows but with AROS x86 ISO they don't work, I have also used PowerISO and this even corrupts ISOs.
In practice with UltraISO and MagicISO you can edit and save an existing AROS x86 ISO but you can't create one from scratch. |

Ok solved I managed to create CD/DVD/ISO Bootable with UltraISO, if anyone is interested I can describe the steps
@White On UltraISO there is an entry that has solved and that seems to be not reported in the page you posted (I have not found it) Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 06 December 2019 at 02:29. |

Great, a guide if you have time and always useful.
These days I was solving a problem with windows 10 64bit enterprise for the i7 4770k. I had to contact the support team of (cis) internet security suite for some continuous firewall crashes. finally solved. But now the system works perfectly. Finally I can use amigaOS 4.1 :-) Now I can finally use the system and move my work on it. A guide on aros x86 on ultraiso is always useful. thanks! |

Paolo nothing special, just a few steps:
- Extract the AROS x86 Bootloader from CD/DVD or ISO with IsoBuster or UltraISO and save the file somewhere - With UltraISO after entering the data, from the Start menu Import the bootloader saved from "Load Boot File" (see screenshot) - Always from UltraISO from the Start menu Check the item "Generate Bootinfotable" (see screenshot) - Done this Save the ISO that you can use in VirtualBox or VMWare or Burn to CD/DVD ready to be booted to PC All other programs tested on PC do not have the entry "Generate Startup Information Table" which solved the problem.
