also I see on BBOAH for the sd on the ebay auction:

"The card is only suitable for 15Khz modes (NTSC, PAL, Euro36) and it can't process ECS/AGA screenmodes. It does however have software controllable refresh rates at up to 100Hz. SuperHighRes modes are possible but every second pixel in a row is omitted."

I don't think it would be good for my 2MB ECS A2000 lol

if it's just the ground line, and no chip fried, that can be easily fixed.

I don't think any scandoubler for the A2000 can process ECS modes. They're supposed to be VGA compatible anyway. But ECS modes suck cause you have to stick with 4 colors for a decent resolution. If you want 16 colors or something, you have to decrease the resolution to the size of a matchbox. Your best bet is a scandoubled/de-interlaced PAL/NTSC mode I guess. Or a RTG card. Why do you have all those Zorro slots anyway ? :-P

I do have a picassoII on it...
what are you trying to say about the sd? I don't get it
I had the macrosystems DeInterlace 2000 , it was working OK as far as I could tell...
also does anyone know the R&D FlickerBlaster 2000 videoslot scandoubler????

here is the damage, I cannot see any other problem visually...

ok, let me put it this way, why do you think this scandoubler would not be good for your ECS A2000 ?

now I see it better... BBOAH says it cannot process doublescan modes, right? I don't care about them lol

edit: what do you think of the damage?

yes exactly that. ECS modes are already doubled, so it's not necessary to doubled them again.

I think it can be easily patched with a wire. Even a starter can do it with a soldering iron (yes come on, you can do it ).

you think?
the monitor won't "power-on" from the scandoubler, is it possible that because the wire in on the air it does not work OK? because it is not cut...

the best way to know is to use a continuity tester and see if it still conducts. Or you can use a voltmeter to see if there's ground on the connector pins.

Wasn't it working when we had a chat yesterday? man..you have bad luck

Try and get a C= A2320 SD/FF, it's the same military spec SD/FF as in the A3000
