Beneath a Steel Sky

Hi, I'm playing BaSS ECS version on emulation platforms (Pimiga, Amibian, WinUAE), the issue is that as soon as you enter the cyberspace, inside the Security HQ, the gam freezes quite often.
I've tried to install the ADF on the virtual HDD, as well as using the WHD load version, set the emulation to FullECS and so on but nothing, same result.

Is it a well known issue with no workaround or is there a way to sort this out?
I know there's a CD32 version, and I've played the PC version as well, still....the Amiga version is my favourite

The CD32 version is the same, and has speech (which can be disabled). Maybe you can try that one?

It's whdload via emulated Workbench environment (running on Pi400), but I tried to install on HDD from the adf files too.
Never tried the CD32 version (because of the speech), I might give it a try, potentially the save state feature could solve the annoying save game system on that version...

I can confirm that the CD32 version works flawlessly, with no issues whatsoever.
Also, surprisingly save states work pretty well with Pimiga (for those whom might be interested).
I still prefer the no talkie version tho, which is the one I'm playing

that's easy: you can delete the samples (faster to load, specially with whdload) or set speech volume to zero

I also have a problem: the game starts and works fine, but once I move the mouse to the inventory, it sort of freezes. I can still move the cursor, and it gives descriptions, but can't do nothing game-wise. Can reload the game.

Sometimes it's ok in the beginning though and happens in later stages. Very annoying but no idea what might be causing it. First saw it on my A500 with ACA500+, but after moving the SD to my PC with WinUAE and running as a HDD it also happens.
