I'm having a weird bug (I think?), after 'Shotgunner', any area I enter (besides the basement) it goes automatically on alert mode and never stops (no matter how many enemies I kill). Has anyone else come across this?

The word here is "bug". Check your inventory.

I'm really enjoying this. One thing though, I seem to be getting erratic saving behaviour on WHDload. Sometimes the save doesn't seem to "take", and you ended up having to retread a bit. I save directly after the checkpoint, and have the lastest WHDload installed.

Anyone have this too?

~#solved#~

I was using WinUAE. The game seems to need to quit (F10) before it writes the save files. If you save, then just quit the session, it doesn't save.

You might want to enable the NoWriteCache option / tooltype for WHDLoad so that writes happen immediately. That should prevent WHDLoad from deferring the writes until it exits.

it was only a matter of time before some scum tries to generate money by faking a cd32 game using hoffman's port.
and people fall for it, there are already 3 bids. someone who is registered at ebay uk must report it!

Already dealt with

Got someone to bid and win and then leave negative feedback.

If the seller is on here, don't even think of getting gobby on ebay, you just be a good little boy and cancel the sale with no fuss.

Or I will make sure you can NEVER sell an Amiga item on your eBay account again, every auction will be sabotaged.

Only one warning chap.

At this point I'm tempted to let someone win it. They are going to be very disappointed when the save game function doesn't work!

Its a massive issue, you didnt get paid, you did it off your own back, and some price decides to make money of you.

I know that seems a bit hypocritical bearing in mind my past, but I also didn't sell pirated games either.

Exactly why it isn't even the least bit hypocritical

I missed the pirated version for sale on Ebay... some people are really greedy.
Changing topic... is it available a "trained" version of this game?
