Inherit The Earth (1994 Dreamers Guild) the game freezes after the introduction
I have no mouth and i must scream (1995 Dreamers Guild) freezes from the start

Broken Sword 2 (1997 Revolution) PC version OK, PSX version error

I'd really love at some stage if "Blade Runner" could be added to an Amiga version of ScummVM

Understand that it's difficult and may not be possible.

It's the one game I'd really like to try / have running from an Amiga

Hi Arti,

I think you should just use SDL to build ScummVM these days...that should support a window mode and maybe 16 bit colour + shaders.

My old code was designed to get ScummVM running on real classic hardware so it's very limited.

For anyone interested, I just upload a quick 1.7 port of ScummVM using the RTG SDL to the Zone. This build was done for Mike and only supports a limited number of games but might of use to someone.

It's a shame that the port for PPC Amiga's hasn't been updated for years. My 68040 25 MHz seems to be to slow to work with the newest versions (in spite of gfx and sound card)...

Blizzard PPC 603e 166 MHz. I know, it's old. But my dream for a ScummVM version for my PPC coincides with the wishes of the users who thirst for programs for their ancient Amiga 500. However, this should not be misunderstood as an attack.

No, just asking as we do have more than 1 kind of PPC Amiga. And I know that for OS4 and for WOS we have ScummVM at 2.2 or newer which is not really that old. Not sure if a 166MHz can take it as ScummVM gets more bloated every version.

I have a question about your ScummVM port.
There are some games with CD audio. E.g. the CD version of Monky Island 1.
In what form must the audio files be stored for the Amiga version of ScummVM to play them? MP3 or OGG as on the PC should cost too much computing time unless you use a Vampire card I think. I tried to store them according to the pattern track01.wav track02.wav... or track 01.iff track 02.iff...(converted into the appropriate format before, of course) but unfortunately it doesn't play that way.
If that doesn't work, could you add support for uncompressed WAF or iff 8svx files

I think all my ports only support Ogg or MIDI, maybe broken sword supports WAV for cinematics.

Adding uncompressed WAV support is possible I guess.

With help of bebbo my build of version 2.2 supports Phantasmagoria now.

tried your newest build from your website and can't manage to get midi sound (I mean standard emulation, not camd or something) on my Vampire 600 and WinUAE. Previous 2.2 version worked though...
