Did you ever find out? I'm looking for one myself now, as I would also like to be able to sample audio.

I would imagine class complient audio cards should work, though I haven't tested. I'll give it a spin with my RME UFX and report back. If it works with CC then that opens the door to a lot of great devices.

EDIT:
While Poseidon discovers the UFX as having several streaming audio channels I am unable to categorize them as usbaudio devices. I don't know how poseidon works so I'm hesitent to start fiddling around with it. Poseidon does discover and bind it as a MIDI device however.

I guess I'm just going to order one and hope for the best.

I bought the cheapest one on ebay and it worked fine and just appeared in AHI. Described as "popular audio sound card adaptor". It was 99p incl postage.

The main problem I have had is my rapidroad keeps flaking out whenever I use it on the clockport.
