DJBase Kickstart adapter for A1000

Hello all.

I'm a new user on this forum, and start with a puzzel right away

I got this DJbase kickstart adapter for A1000.
The problem is the guideline.
So I'm looking for some help.

My A1000 is a PAL rev A with the piggyboard.

Here is the instructions:



I have attached my piggyback board and the mainboard with the W2 and W4 solider joints.



So far I have this in my mind.
Cut the leg on PAL DAUGCAS I asume the leg 17
is the fourth soliderjoint from the right if you look at the picture?
I will turn the board and cut the leg.

Next 4,7KOhm resistor.

I solider a reistor between leg 1 and 20 on LS373
I asume leg 1 is upper left on the picture and leg 20 is the last on the bottom right.? (talking about the SL373 chip on the picture)

Next the W2 and W4 pad.

Here I'm not sure what to do.

Can you look at the pictures And give me a hint or point out what to do?
Feel free to edit my pictures.

NB! Picture amiga10002 is the back of the mainboard showing W2 W4 and W5.. I guess I have to cut and join on this side?

Picture amiga10001 if you zoom you will find the pins I would cut and join with a resistor. is this correct?

I'll have a read and see if I can understand it.

FYI I did read back in the day that the DJBase A1000 Kickstart adapters are not 100% compatible with EPROMs because pin 31 is not connected triggering "BYTE MODE".

A simple mod to connect pin 31 to pin 21 may be required. But take that post with a pinch of salt until you can confirm it is true.
