Team Ford Q8 Demo V1.1

I found a disk with a game called Team ford Q8 and it looks like a lotus remake. It s done by Softeyes and 1992 is written on the floppy.
Have you heard about it ?
The disk is copy protected and only the first 4 level are playable.
Is there a way to make an image of the disk with IPF or RawDIC?

And I finally found two games in WIP with sprites, datas, sources and tunes.
One is called Tug Type and the other one HawkWind.

When I was working at Team17 they had an old stock of disks they wanted to bin. I took a box and only realized today they are full of demos and projects poeple use to send to Team17 for hiring or project selling purpose.

If anybody is interested.

If you can se DIC to image the bootblock (basically until it comes across an error) and upload the image to galahafairlight(at)yahoo.co.uk I will be able to build an imager out of it.

Great find Tony!

So you guys want to play this yeah?

It's not a complete victory, but at least partly a victory

I've just played around a bit with WWarp, found an appropriate sync for track 0 and indeed WWarp could get convinced to write the MFM dump to an extended adf!
This is for test only - please do not spread!

First 5 levels work, the other half does not, and I've yet to find out why - probably I have to modify some WWarp settings. Sound is distorted with WinUAE in the first seconds, but works fine after a short while.

At least there's something for you guys to play with now!
Happy LOTUS'ing!

theres only room on the disk for 4 levels, at the moment I'm struggling to get all the levels to fit on one disk.

I am actually curious to know if Team Ford Q8 is actually an original code or simply a rip of Lotus 2 with different GFX
The similarity is more than suspicious...

The similarity to my MK5b Escort is even more curious. Spoiler and everything

I take it this can't be played under WinUAE in it's current state?

The extended ADF Andreas has done should work, but ignore the menu when it lets you select levels 5-10 as they are not on the disk, only the first 4 levels are, the way the demo has been coded is quite crap.

Hmm... I can load it up the the point of 'ready set go' but can't actually drive.

I've tried all keys on the keyboard and stick in both ports but no dice. What gives?
