A1200NET floppy eject button
Hello,
I have an A1200NET replacement case. My Amiga 1200 has a Chinon FZ-354 floppy disk drive (see pics). Is it possible to install the A1200NET floppy eject button on the Chinon floppy disk drive? I have attached a picture comparing the original and A1200NET floppy eject buttons. I have tried both orientations but I cannot get the new eject button to install and I don't want to force the button and cause damage. Any help is welcome. Cheers Pierre |

If I'm not mistaken, the new button is for a Panasonic drive, so I don't think you'll be able to fit it to the Chinon.

About 1200net cases... Does anyone know if they send cases with the same floppy button color (I mean ex. grey case - grey button)? BTW I have Sony MPF920 floppy from pc modded to work with my A1200 but I have to wait for my A1200net case until March to see if that button will fit...

I received a black A1200 case a while back with black floppy button so maybe the button will always match the case color.
However I could not see any way to fit the button to Sony MPF920. As noted before it seems to be for A500 case and fits Chinon FB-354 perfectly. If you have a 3D printer you can print one (for example: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2914747) or buy one from amigastore.eu (No color optons and "Floppy drive model: Sony" https://amigastore.eu/en/624-floppy-...nt-button.html). Not the best fitment, but I got it to stick to it. |

Thanks. I don't have 3d printer. I once bought a floppy button from different store but it didn't match with the case.

Just to add, I’ve had the Black, White, Clear, Grey (Gray) and Dark Blue and they came with a colour coded eject button albeit it only fits the A500 chinon drive for some reason And No the A500 drive will not fit in a A1200 case |

Here is the button for Sony drive: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2914747
I think this one will fit nicely into A1200. |
