I see that it's been ported to 68K. Is it of any practical use on a 50MHz 68060?

It's still only a BETA and not that fast but it should be usable.

Can't use NetSurfAGA with the ACA1231 because Ixemul needs FPU:
NetSurf seems to work a little bit better than NetSurfAGA. Google logo is missing on the NetSurfAGA: Last edited by ShK; 21 August 2013 at 07:39. |

Sorry, do you mean that NetSurf opens without Fpu?
Edit: Ah, no, you say with rtg and Fpu. Last edited by Retrofan; 21 August 2013 at 10:56. |

Even without ixemul it's never going to much fun with anything less than an 060. |

I found this
[ Show youtube player ]. I think we would need a couple hundred MHz 68060 to make it fun.

This is the BETA AGA video ->

Yep it's slow but at least it renders the pages properly. Web browers on 68k are never going to be very fast I'm afraid and as the internet gets more demanding this situation is only going to get worse. |
