Patch Order
If different patches patch the same patch the same funtion, which patch will be active, the last one installed?
With Scout I can see the patches but I don't see which one is active. |

The last one will be active.
But usually if you patch a function you will do your thing and call the original function before or after that. So all patches are called one after the other. For example the patch applied to CloseWorkbench by screennotify.library first sends a message to all programs needing to be informed and then calls the original CloseWorkbench function. |

Is there some Amiga tool that shows you which is the active patch? Scout lists them all but you can't see which one is the active one.

Actually there is no way to walk through all patches. Only the last one is stored in the library and only each program which has patched the function knows which one was the previous. If Scout is able to list all patches of one function, then you must have some kind of patch control program running which remembers all previous patches.

If I remember right Scout only shows patches if SaverPatches or PatchControl is running. Which patch is active or not is displayed by Scout. E.g.:
