Problem with Amiga 1200 floppy

Hi Guys!

I have some strange problem with my Amiga 1200 floppy drive. I'll try to explain with my poor English.
I bought an Amiga 1200, it hase kickstart 3.1, board is REV 2B. There is floppy drive Panasonic, JU-257A605P. After I turn it on it all seems to be fine. Just floppy drive doesnt read disks each time (sometimes it was ok, sometines not - floppy drive does not read diskd). So i tried to clean the heads but unfortunatly it got worse - it doesnt read anything more.
I releplece the floppy drive by an oryginal Amiga floppy drive (from another Amiga 1200) - not working. I tried to replace it by pc floppy (prepared for Amiga) - the same, not working. When i put disk in, the floppy is starting, screen disappears for a second and gets back, then again floppy is starting, screen disappears and its like that over and over again.
i tried to change flex and power wires - no use...
Externall floppy drive is working fine.
please help!

It may be a little off topic, but can someone recomend where to buy virgin Amiga Floppys? The last box I've bought of Basf 2DD shows them as unreadable. They only work after the trick I discovered of making with them an Emergency Disk with OS3.9, but that's a time consuming work... and I've tried with 3 floppy drives, one of them a new Amiga-Panasonic one.

Sorry if this sounds patronising but did you try formatting them before use?

That's what the emergency disk thing does first.

I don't think they ever sold Amiga pre-fomatted disks anywhere, like they did for PC compatibles.

I guess the best to go is the HxC. More reliable and not that expensive. I know you know that but...it's true..

Yes, I tried to format them (I've just tried with another), but I get an error again of "seek failure". No idea about it (don't remember if I tried formatting with the 3 floppy drivers either).
About the HxC I only like it externally. Don't ask me why, but I like having that part of the Amiga inside (the floppy drive). In fact if I would take it off I would have a lot of room for my unused Acard or whatever, but...

Seek failure sounds very curious. Do you have a lot of patches installed? Trackdisk step time reducers or similar?
