Great software to install on Amithlon

Hi Everyone,
Well I finally got it complete. I built my first Amithlon and I am loving learning the OS3.9 Operating System, its functions and slowly learning the CLI.
I wanted to ask everyone what software they are using on there Amigas that is Amithlon. AMINET has thousands of programs and it can be a bit daughting for a newbie.
So things like email, browser, mod trackers, music players, documents and spreadsheet software 3d and 2d paint and pixel art programs etc.
All suggestions appreciated.

Thanks, I'll check it out the links! I haven't played Quake 2 in years, loved that game. Didn't know it was on Amiga.

On Amiga Lately there is also an engine for Quake 3, even if it works well only on WinUAE

Most system friendly software works, things that manipulate the custom chips or rely on Amiga hardware specific aspects should work. Games, blitter tricks, hacks, etc.. are best to stay away from.

IBrowse 2.5.3 works great for a browser, though still limited how Amiga browsers are limited, AmigaWriter on the Amithlon CD works well for wordprocessing, Lightwave 3d works extremely well for 3d rendering though there are a number of screens you have to mode promote (newmode or modepro) to an RTG screen.

Games that support RTG should work well as mentioned, the Doom/Quake/Duke Nukem 3d, etc.. all play extremely well.
