Speed - WHDLoad
I never see this demo anywhere. I can't remember the crew behind it. It came on three floppies and was AGA. I remember the demo ending with a sample saying "The game is over".
I've been trying to find a WHDLoad version for years. I've downloaded so many collections of WHDload stuff and it's never included. I realize I've not given much to go on. Sadly I can't find info. The Amiga Demo Archive doesn't even have a listing for it. Update: Found a link. https://demozoo.org/productions/4219/ Also it seems to be 4 disks. |

It's a demo coded by Sim (his last Amiga demo if memory doesn't fail me) and I have a "working" WHDLoad patch for it for quite some years already. However, the demo requires exact timing of the floppy disk version when run from HD as otherwise there'll be visual glitches. And this is very time consuming and annoying to do hence no official WHDLoad patch available yet.

It´s not an AGA Demo and the native "one file version" found on pouet.net runs great.
Thank you Stingray and all the People for there time and effort to make Whdload slaves ... and DEMOS of course ! Much love & respect, Torti. |

I remember running it from floppy and the screen would just stay black if I recall until you got the disk in. I remember always being impressed it didn't mess with the timing.
