Question any chance for an alternative version of IK+?

Me and my friend were playing IK+ the other day. We always like to skip the "deflect balls" and "kick bombs" parts just by getting hurt ASAP. We just like the fighting parts and getting into serious ass-kickin' action !

So i thought: would it be possible to create a version where these boring parts are skipped totally? Or maybe a version where one could choose the amount of fighting rounds before these parts, or just select whether the "deflect balls" or "kick bombs" parts will occur or not (after xx amount of selected fighting rounds).

Could this be somehow implemented say in WHDLoad tooltypes?

Any thoughts/comments on this? Would it be a hard task to modify the game to do something like this?

it would be cool to make the third player playable too, like in ik+gold on the c64.

3-player mode would be a great addition . I hope someone considers making some nice changes to this classic.

The only thing i can think of doing would be save a round in WINUAE via save state and just keep reloading it once its finished. Of course you wont progress to the next game but at least that way you can just keep on reloading then fighting...........

You could ask Wepl (author of the WHDLoad slave) how hard it would be to include that feature. Hope that it's not too hard and that you find someone to help you
