A500 Rev 6 FAST RAM / "HDD" upgrades - benefits?

So i have a Rev6 A500 with 1Mb RAM (A501 expansion).
I have a Gotek USB floppy emulator.

What if any, are the benefits to me trying to add a Flashdrive (CF) pretending to be a Hard Drive (i think i've seen people talking about doing such a thing?) and extra RAM (I think adding FAST RAM is possible?)

What are such upgrades going to bring me that I don't already enjoy with my A500 remaining "stock" (except for the Gotek)?
