Good work again (I've not even had a chance to try it yet!). just reading the docs, and wondered if there is a way to set it to use VincED? http://aminet.net/package/util/shell/ViNCEd

I would do an Amigashell flavor for the fullscreen too, that look to DOSsy for my tastes -_-

The colours can be set, judging by the prefs window screenshot

I really like it. A few suggestions:
- Top menu bar so screen can be grabbed and slide it up/down.
- Colors configurable from the tooltypes so separate icons can be created for having several shells with different colors.
- Use the built in color picker.

GoShell 2.0 released, download from www.bitplan.pl/goshell

  • ViNCEd console support, if installed in system (KingCon is also supported)
  • dedicated configuration program (to sys: prefs), which makes the main program lighter and runs faster
  • Several predefined color schemes to choose (you can still set your own scheme)
  • You can set an AmigaDOS script to be executed when the terminal starts (S:Shell-startup is default)

I don't plan on supporting OS 1.3/2.x at the moment. Furthermore- we are already waiting for 3.2

This is looking nice. It would be cool if this could be a replacement for KingCon. No need to have it installed. With that I mean the TAB, complete path. KingCon is a nightmare to install.

GoShell can use KingCON, but cannot replace it. Same with ViNCEd.

Run the installer is a nightmare? Manually you just have to copy the handler to L: and mountlist do DEVS:. Then load handler resident or add the dismount/mount lines to U-S.

Yes, I know. It is not a nightmare

What I like to see is that if I open a prog. GOShell switch to that screen. Just like I did "ed startup-sequence" and even if ed started I was still in GOShell screen.
At least this should be an option.

Why not also have option for this prog. as a window on workbench?
