So its likely CIA related as I suspected.
When I converted Recoil from the Atari ST to Amiga, a cracktro was written for it, which caused problems on some Gotek type systems. It turned out to be buggy CIA code that was causing it, and I suspect its the same here. Because my version bypasses that code completely is why it should just work on everything. |

This would certainly explain why I could play the cracked game no problem back in the day but it is very unstable on the same Amiga when using a gotek. This new version works fine as can be seen.
