Sure, you can't browse the web on these things (realistically), but sat next to your main PC they make a great communications station. John |

iff attached. I had to zip it so the forum would accept the file.
BTW seb123 - it says you're in Sydney - there's a user group meeting this Sunday if that's your kind of thing: https://www.saug.org.au/ |

Thanks a lot for the file, mate. As for my address, I need to update that : I'm on the Gold Coast now... and currently traveling to Europe and to China for the next 6 weeks (right now in a hotel in HongKong, lol). |

Wow, superb. On an A500, really?
Beautiful. What software is the skin of the player for? |

You mean what player is it? It's AmigaAMP. The skin is "Expensive Hi-Fi".

That's NewHomer by Emiliano Esposito. It opens a little window on Workbench with an animated Homer that randomly goes through a list of sound clips. His eyes follow the mouse pointer. Pressing "b" makes him burp and pressing "d" makes him "d'oh!". It's silly, but it's great. When you close the window, Homer says, "That's it, I'm outta here!"
The icons I mostly did myself. I'm using VisualPrefs, MagicMenu, Birdie, etc.. I just discovered that I forgot how to take a bloody screenshot - so here's another old one showing the palette, Tools menu icons and Homer in action: I just noticed that these two screenshots I uploaded became slightly blurred when posted. I wonder why. The originals are crisp. |

In all it's glory... whilst trying to get my compact flash to work.
This screen always brings back a lot of pleasant memories. For me, this simple interface defines the Amiga. All the other 'updated' themes seem to remind me of Windows Desktop Themes lol. |

(Screenshot made about 12 years ago using WinUAE because Amiga screenshot program couldn't capture the copper background.) |
