Be more precise, please!

The Amiga has three commercial Robin Hood games:

Adventures Of Robin Hood, The (Millennium)
Legend Of Robin Hood: Conquests Of The Longbow,The (Sierra)
Robin Hood: Legend Quest (Codemasters)

Hooooo

Wow. That second Robin Hood game looks great. I must get my hands on that game. Has anyone played it? Is it as good as it looks?

Djay, it may sometimes take 3-4 minutes until the planetemu download starts! This is normal, considering the traffic going on there every day.

Question

How fast is the Sierra graphical adventure? If memory serves correctly that was around the time that crappy, slow PC ports of sierra stuff eventually made the Amiga versions unplayable.

Yeah, the moment is very slow, even with full speed ingame. The long loading times are very annoying too, but i never tested a DOS install.

Yeah, the walking is slow in some scenes (slowest scene is the camp at the beginning, 2nd place is the swamp), no matter how much power I threw into WinUAE..... but if I threw in enough "power" to make those REALLY slow walking scenes run in decent speed, the rest would fly by.... too fast.... check my longplay... that's the best balance I got... which is ok... just some rare scenes that makes walking slow... but not unbearable.

I just did a simple DOS install. The game is somewhat faster, particularly the menus. Is the WHDload slave in need of an overhaul? I havent played after the first two scenes yet. I will persevere... damned powerful PCs robbing me of all my patience!
