Alien Breed - Alien Breed SE?

Had enough of me yet?

Anyway - I'm still trying to recall alot of the old games I used to play on the Amiga that I want back, i've got most of them however im struggling on a few...

After loading up alien breed se i realised this was the one I was looking for, however i never had the pleasure of playing the original alien breed.

My question is what were the differenced between alien breed and the special edition - was there any? and if so what were they?!

Ta

I think there were some differences in graphics, and that was about it, believe I read that somewhere. Also I don't think there were adverts on the first disk.

I once asked CodyJ the exact same question about all the Team 17 re-releases, and I think his answer was there is no difference between them.

Level design and graphics... no animated intro sequence disk, no *hidden* pong game...

Just more of the same stuff, which is no bad thing!!!

Assasin Special Edition DOES have differences. The hero looks different, he has a pea-shooter weapon instead of the boomerang, and the level layout is different (Levels divided in subzones)

Alien Breed SE has different levels..

Assassin SE is VERY different, like Akira pointed out. The levels are different, the main weapon is different.. Assassin SE is MUCH better than the 1st one.

Project X SE is easier than the 1st one, and if memory is right, there's one level less. It's also in only 3 disks instead of 4 .
