Sensible World of Soccer 2020, v1.1 [May 2021]
.adf's set (A500/A600/A1200), got from this site : https://www.sensiblesoccer.de/swos-2020 i'm trying to make it work, via winUAE, no luck until now it just crash in guru on my side just selecting Friendly match, Europe, England, Premiere League it crash in guru after a short loading, no matter what configuration (500/600/1200) there is a specific requirement for the adf version? |

There is no special requirement except for the usual 1MB RAM, A500 setup. I would still recommend standard A1200 as the game have a few slowdowns on standard A500.
I think there might be a problem with SWOS 2020. I uploaded ADF to the sone some time ago. SWOS 20/21. That one work for sure. |

i have check better, seems a bug with all the English teams
the game will crash loading whatever English team, so a problem in case of many tournaments/championships this is marked v1.1 May 2021, so possibly the most updated (teams talking) one? can you check in your version? Last edited by kremiso; 27 November 2021 at 14:48. |

I think the problem is with the data disk. Try to use old, original 96/97 SWOS disk 1 and the new Team disk as disk 2. |

using the latest 2020 disk1, and the original 96/97 .ipf (disk2), it seems work fine, but ofc with the teams outdated so yes, disk2 issue it seems EDIT wondering if it's just a noob full disk issue, because checking into the .hdf release (and also in the original ipf disk2) there are more team files (76,77,78 and from 80 to 85) into the data subdirectory, compared to disk2; wtf, i'll try to add that team files, and remove something other, just to check EDIT x2 nope, not so easy, also adding those files it crash the same i'll check for differences from the .hdf release then Last edited by kremiso; 27 November 2021 at 19:39. |

solved, just copying over all the 'data' subdirectory from the .hdf version;
probably just a corrupted file then seems ok now, BUT there is also another thing to consider : about the team files not added (read above), seems they are national teams, so when selecting 'National' in options the game will search for the missing files, with the drive asking for another disk; you can put those 8 files in a third disk, with the same disk2 structure seems that all the edits, have made this game a little too big to fit in two disks, but wtf btw, i'm adding the new disk2 into the zone, at least without the English teams bug |

The team files should be compressed with Rob Northern ProPack tool which is how the games squeezes all the team data onto one disk. This is also why the English league file crashes - because it isn't compressed.
