Graphical glitches in games

Hello,

Im brand new member here and let me cut right to the chase:

I have recently bought a amiga 600 hd machine (my first amiga) and noticed that some games show heavy graphical corruption. most games i tried seem to work great though.

here's a video clip of the game Nitro with normal intro but actual game has messy graphics: [ Show youtube player ]

other games i can confirm make the same thing are: rodland, pacmania, soccer kid (all which i really like)

I have tried playing games with whdload and with original disks. results are the same on both. although i only have 1 original game that is both on hard drive and disk which is ruff n tumble. It works fine but first screen with johnnys head is garbage.

i have tried using with expansions and without. no change.

could a degrader and or relokick help?

What Kickstart ROM do you have? I have ROM 3.1 and Relokick works best for me in these situations.

I had a game "Lionheart" that ran perfectly from floppies, but had graphical problems in WHDLoad. The author of the WHDLoad install even called this out explicitly in the readme.

Other games that had graphical errors across versions, did not behave properly because I had an NTSC original Amiga, which I hard-converted to PAL, fixing many issues I was having.

Relokick would probably help if you hadnt the same glitches with WHDLoad versions, which are already fixed. Thats strange, could be a hardware problem.

it has 3.1 also. i would be curious to know is this problem common with amigas and how how much it would require to fix it if indeed something wrong with hardware.

Did you try to boot the kick3.1 in OCS mode? Hold down both mouse buttons after a reset.
It's no degrader but I got some old games to work, on my 1200, thanks to that option.

I have a very similar problems........on so many games i obtain this:

I have tryed to set AGA - OSC - ECS but never resolve this issue. I have also tryed to disable the RTG

This games it's Lothar Matthaus futbool but i have the same problems in all others games in some much and in other less..... how i can fix this ?
